Deno Yiankes

Chairman & Founder

A seasoned investor with over 35 years of experience in lodging, finance, and real estate, Mr. Yiankes serves as Chairman and Founder of Chimera Hospitality Corporation (CHC). He leads the strategic direction, sourcing, and asset management of the firm’s equity investments.

Previously, Mr. Yiankes spent over 30 years at White Lodging, where he served as CEO of Investments & Development, overseeing over $6 billion in hotel investments and the development of more than 200 premium and soft branded properties. He continues to serve as a Senior Advisor and Board Member for the company.

Mr. Yiankes has co-authored industry resource books on hotel investment and asset management, served on Marriott International’s National Association Advisory Board (MINA), and is an active member of AHLA’s Executive Leadership Forum and Investment Roundtable. A past President and board member of Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA), he holds a bachelor’s degree in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management from Purdue University Northwest.

Eric Yiankes

Vice President

Eric serves as Vice President at CHC, where he is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and execution of the firm’s hotel investments. Before joining CHC, Eric led underwriting at Buckhead America Hospitality, a prominent Atlanta-based owner/operator. He also spent two years in hotel investment sales at Berkadia, a leading national real estate brokerage. He began his career in operations at the dual-branded aloft/Element in downtown Austin, Texas.

Eric holds a degree in Economics, Business, and Government from the University of Texas at Austin.

Alex Yiankes

Vice President


Alex serves as Vice President at CHC, and is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting and execution of the firm’s hotel investments. Before CHC, Alex was Director of Acquisitions at Satori Collective, where he was instrumental in hotel acquisitions and dispositions, with additional asset management responsibilities.

Prior to Satori, Alex was an Associate at Hodges Ward Elliott.

Alex earned a Finance degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
